Desmond Hatchett
I may have to retire this column. Desmond is 29. He’s got a minimum wage job. And he has 21 children. Twenty. One. Children. Nothing else really needs to be said, does it? Any stereotype you can muster most likely applies to Desmond and the 11 moms, and will probably fit most, if not all of the 21 kids someday. This is a terrible tragedy of ignorance and indifference, so far beyond the realm of human sense that it can only be called trifling.

And there he stands, grinning like an idiot, most assuredly convinced that those 21 children are some sort of testament to his manhood. I feel so sorry for those kids.
You know, the simplicity of the comment made me wonder so I googled and found that this is true. There is nothing that I can that we are not already thinking. All I can do is hope that this becomes a lesson for others to learn from. I know the bible says “go ye forth and multiply” and big families used to be normal centuries ago, but this is a bit much.

Where are Desmond’s parents? I think he may have missed some concepts about growing up and being an adult.
You know this goes beyond anything considerred normally absurd. My gripe is I’ve heard people saying:
“A woman who is unmarried and has a dozen kids by several fathers (who don’t care/pay for them), because she’s draining so much from the Gov.t ought to be spade.” Can you believe such garbage?
Yet here’s this man helping to create 21 lives that he probably won’t even be conected with, and sure as hell can’t afford to care for one. But has anyone said he should be “fixed” (although it obviosly isn’t broken) ???
Sorry, this shit gets me on my soap box, and I just can’t let it go without saying something.

Which NFL team does Desmond play for again? (a little levity)…
It is a scary premise (used in a movie a few years back): where intelligent, hard-working people do not want to bring children into this chaotic world and limit themselves to 1-2 kids…meanwhile the low-lifes (of every race) keep multiplying and eventually will rule the world with a sub-par, dumbed-down set of rules and morals.
ROTFL – this is going to come to my mind repeatedly today and I will laugh everytime – that is the comment to beat for the year!
And where exactly does the wage of a person relate to the number of children that person is allowed to have?
The Peoples News responds: You can have as many kids as you can support, Julian. Like the Duggar family, for instance. This idiot’s story became known, however, when the moms of 15 of his children filed nonsupport papers against him. Therefore, the amount of money he makes is relevant.
Almost like they formed a support group and eventually came up with the plan of all plans . . . Mothers In Crisis. . .This just sound to suspect you sure they weren’t all part of a book club that he joined in hopes of sowing his royal seeds? I think they sensed something was wrong when they were having give 3 and 4 baby showers at a time. lol
