Those who say Roman Polanski should go free
Whoopi, are you serious? Woody Allen…well, you I’d expect this from. But what part of raping a 13-year-old would imply that Polanski should be set free? Was it the part about him drugging the little girl he lusted after, Samantha Geimer? Plying her with alcohol? Forcing himself on her even after she begged him to stop? His cowardly flight from justice? The 32 years he’s lived in Europe?
Any argument that Polanski is being persecuted or should be freed is baloney. As the saying goes, You do the crime, you do the time.

I’m just stunned that people are saying “well it wasn’t *rape* rape.” WTH? Make all the critically-acclaimed movies you want, Polanski, you’re still a child rapist.
Amen, my brother. I cannot believe the number of people (who have children) who believe this rapist should be set free. As for Whoopi, what is rape rape? She’s a mother of a young woman. Would she have wanted that to happen to her daughter. She really needs to stop and think.
I know that everyone has their opinion, but they still need to call it what it is- RAPE!
The thing that infuriates me most is that these “Hollywood” people are the same ones that were so enraged that Michael Vick was fighting poor defenseless dogs…DOGS!
At what point in our society did it become ok to drug and rape a HUMAN child? Where’s the outrage for that?
Unfortunately, ours is a country full of bleeding-heart liberals; they want to forgive and forget everything wrong that’s done…as long as it’s done to someone else. I have 3 daughters, and I can assure you that no matter how long it took, I’d want justice for my daughter! I don’t much like country music, but Toby Keith has a song which says it all: ” It’s time for the long arm of the law to put a few more in the ground, that’ll settle ‘em down…”
Even Howard Stern thinks he should be boiled in oil! But hey… welcome to the new world order. The end is near.
Just goes to show that there’s an entirely different “justice system” for the wealthy.
