Linda Brown
Sometimes, of course, we feature people in this section who are evil. Linda isn’t evil—in fact, she’s mentally ill. So while I won’t post her picture (largely because I can’t find a clear one), I can’t let her trifling behavior slide.
Linda showed up at a Burlington Coat Factory in Columbus, Ohio, and announced she’d won the Lottery, and would pay for everyone’s merchandise up to $500. People filled up shopping carts and even called relatives telling them to come down and get free stuff. But wait…it was all a ruse. Linda hadn’t won anything, and skedaddled, which pissed off some of the greedy/needy shoppers. Linda, to paraphrase Bill Engvall: Here’s your trifling sign. (And I have a bunch more for those brain surgeons who looted the store during the melee.)

Then, convinced he had found a new method, Obama followed suit and told his adoring fans in N.O. that every social program and engineering efforts started by G. Bush was his idea.
Might be trifling, but funny as hell. Now why didn’t I think of that? LOL…..!!
I mean really, who would fall for something like that? She is lucky she got away intact. It was a cruel joke and I believe she is mentally unstable.
I think you need to update this and make the Colorado parents who did the whole “our son is up in that balloon floating away!!” hoax the TPN mega liars of the month!!!
Xavier Muhammad responds: I considered it, LaBoss. The parents sure were trifling. But I really blame the cops who said they thoroughly searched the house. Had they actually done their job, this would’ve been a nonissue.
